Had a pretty good lunch here. I like the atmosphere and the service was good. The lunch tacos were decent, about what I'd expect for a bar & grille. They don't have very many options with little to no meat, which was kind of disappointing for me. I'm sure most people would be pleased with the barbecue and sandwiches and whatnot though. I'd say check it out if that's your thing.

Great ribs. The small tenderloins are huge and the burgers are great too. Haystack onions that you need to share they're so big. All of the servers are friendly and fast.

Best place in Monmouth hands down, and if you don't eat here you don't know where to eat in Monmouth.

Nondescript building. Looks more like a dive bar, but it's really more of a barbecue restaurant. I was very surprised about how fabulous the food was! I ordered a smoked Turkey sandwich, and it came with thick, hot slices of freshly smoked Turkey. I tossed the sandwich bread out, and slathered some of the bbq sauce that was on the table on it. Soooo good! (The bbq sauce is sweet and sour, vinegar based, and was fabulous.) The service was quick and the server friendly. We made a pit stop here just off the highway to stop for lunch on a long road trip. Totally worth the detour!

First time.. local bar with a kitchen.. Monday special tacos.. $2.50 each. But my 3 tacos with sour cream $8.. no mention extra charge.. my hubby $8.50.. jalapeños added.. I realize restaurants have costs, but be transparent. The tacos were good, the service was prompt. Park on the north side.. front door hard to find.

Quick service, great daily specials for lunch. The burnt ends are awesome. Don't forget to turn to the back page of the menu for the brisket sandwich - piled high with lean brisket, makes a great lunch! I eat there every time I'm in Monmouth.
